Instead of involving our daughters in activities that might get them some exercise or take advantage of their brain plasticity to prepare them for the future- let's have them sit at the beauty shop, learning nothing interesting or fun. I mean, there couldn't be any effect on young girls that their brothers get to do fun stuff like learn to shoot guns or build wooden cars, and they get to uh...paint their nails, and giggle. Yep, sitting in a chair while some underpaid woman does her nails is really expanding the minds of girls. What ever happened to seeing adults dip roses in nitroglycerin and breaking them?!
