John Kerry and Bill Clinton were both white men who went to college and did well, but in TN, many white children are still blowing off school and not doing their homework.

Women do well in tech, but hostile environments cause them to drop out. Same with people of color. I loved my last job, but I didn't need to deal with that amount of racism for that amount of pay!

You know, I've never gotten speeches like this. I understand it's to appeal to white folks and the black middle class, but seriously, does anyone think that people with dysfunctional behavior are going to not do it because Obama said not to? And of course, in the comments, we have the same old themes of welfare, victimhood, responsibility, which shows that this just gets everybody off the hook! I mean seriously, saying well, stop being such a victim! on the internet isn't going to do anything in our nation's poor areas. Not to mention, plenty of white women on welfare, and plenty of white men tossing their kids off for a hot new ride and then whining that their exwife is too mean.

I mean, I don't think that thousands of black men randomly just said 'let's abandon our kids' and not to mention, not being officially married doesn't mean you don't interact with or give financial help to your kids. I have no idea what the answer is, but we've been hearing speeches like this for years, which is nice and helps get out the donations and the votes, I understand Obama is a politician, but when people on the ground think that's going to help, they are deluded.

Comments: The most annoying type of racist by far. So self deluded they try to water down the history, culture and vibrancy of the human race so that they don't have to acknowledge the very real and horrible problems there are in this world.

The Both Sides Racist

Habitat: They tend to be faux liberals

Main attacks: well...there's been bad things on both sides...

Comments: Pretty annoying as jumbling together every single time a person of color acted in less than a perfect way and systemic oppression really obscures the latter. Inevitably, the greater focus will be on that one time that that kid in high school called someone a honky and not say, on our borked justice system.

It's too bad that people think white folks and black folks sitting together in the cafeteria is a real effort to fight racism.
